Refuse to bow: Esther 3

"If you have been covering up, cover your light no more. Stand for God even if you are standing, it seems, alone.
I was reminded recently that the enemy wants us to believe we are grasshoppers. But standing on the shoulders of Jesus, WE ARE GIANTS!"

The King set Haman above the princes in his Kingdom, and this was further noted by having all who passed him,had to bow to him. Yet,Mordecai would not bow. This angered Haman's pride, and when he inquired further he discovered and made it known to the King:

...There is a certain people scattered abroad and dispersed among the people in all the provinces of thy kingdom; and their laws are diverse from all people

At this Haman became an enemy to the Jews, seeking to destroy them. It turned out that he would suffer the fate he conspired for the people of God.
Today, the enemy is still conspiring to kill and destroy those who proclaim to be separated from the world and who live according the the Word of God. Today, the church is that " certain people, scattered abroad and dispersed" among the world whose laws are not the same as the world's laws. This enemy is counting on us to be too fearful and ashamed to stand for God. He wants us to conform and bow to him instead.   But Mordecai did not bow. Neither will God's church.

I was reminded recently that the enemy wants us to believe we are grasshoppers. But standing on the shoulders of Jesus, WE ARE GIANTS!

If you have been covering up, cover your light no more. Stand for God even if you are standing, it seems, alone. Remember the three Hebrew boys who also refused to bow. It was noticeable, but stand they did.

Romans 8:31
What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us
, who can be against us?
Matthew 10:32-33
32Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.
33But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.
Romans 1:16
For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.

Mission: New Tribes

Hi Family! We hope that your holiday was truly blessed! Not blessed with things  but blessings of fellowship, giving, and most importantly, love. I think we take for granted the opportunity to be surrounded by people who  actually  want to be around us and who want to invest in our lives in some way! Although our year is full of holidays of pagan origin, they are awesome times for the family of God to gather together and just love on each other! Also, I surely don't take holidays that my husband gets off of work lightly! Love....

Mission: Christmas Blessing

Peace & love everybody! I've been so excited it's been hard to contain myself regarding today's mission! I hope that after reading this post, you'll be as encouraged as I am now! Known by most today as "the last Stalinist country" and according to VOM, "one of the most repressive and isolated regimes in the world", North Korea needs our prayers, monetary support, and volunteers. It's even being reported that a holocaust is occurring there as I'm writing this! Christians are being tortured, killed, and having "experiments" run on them all because they testify that Jesus is their Lord. Read a short synopsis of what Persecution.com has to say about North Korea and check out their related links. Thanks to our family over at The Voice of the Martyrs, we will be able to encourage and support our North Korean brothers and sisters! With our donations of $50 we will be able to sponsor a package that will have hard-to-get essentials, ...
