Complete in Him: Hebrews 7

Everything that the tabernacle represented, Jesus fulfilled it. From the one and only entrance, to the covering, allowing us access  to the throne of Jehovah. Hebrews 7:12 tells that when the priesthood is changed, so the law is changed also.  The tabernacle priesthood was established from the line of Levi, the order of Aaron. In the case of Jesus, however his priesthood came from the line of Judah, after the order of Melchizedek. Matthew 5:17-18 17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.   18  For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. With the new order came a new law- the law of grace through faith. John 1:17 For the  law  was given by Moses, but grace and truth  came  by Jesus Christ. Jesus came to fulfill the law. He brought it to completion, allowing a new law, one that completely saves. No longer would

All things New! Revelation 21

Photo used from oneinjesus.info I did not intend to get so emotional. Tears sprang to my eyes and joy quickened my heart as I read the 21st chapter of revelation. Yes, I have read it before. It appeals differently to me now, knowing that we are living in the end of the book. Amazing and exhilarating. The end of the book. 1   Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,”   for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea.   2   I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a  bride beautifully dressed for her husband.   3   And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God.   4   ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’   or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”   5  He who was se

Refuse to bow: Esther 3

"If you have been covering up, cover your light no more. Stand for God even if you are standing, it seems, alone.  I was reminded recently that  t he enemy wants us to believe we are grasshoppers. But st anding on the shoulders of Jesus, WE ARE GIANTS!" The King set Haman above the princes in his Kingdom, and this was further noted by having all who passed him,had to bow to him. Yet,Mordecai would not bow . This angered Haman's pride, and when he inquired further he discovered and made it known to the King: . ..There is a certain people scattered abroad and dispersed among the people in all the provinces of thy kingdom; and their laws are diverse from all people At this Haman became an enemy to the Jews, seeking to destroy them. It turned out that he would suffer the fate he conspired for the people of God.      Today, the enemy is still conspiring to kill and destroy those who proclaim to be separated from the world and who live according the the Word of God.

Leaving a different way: Ezekiel 46

What do you expect when you enter a church?  A good buzzy feeling? Some sort of tear jerker that seduces your conscious into believing you connected with God? Meeting a warm group of people to be with when you need a pick me up? Is it to dance and clap and wave, and feel good about feeling good?  To show your face to make sure everyone knows you were and always will be- there? Or is it to show God you acknowledge his worth, and to magnify the Lord, making him bigger than your very life? Isn't it to support the cause called God, and to further His effect? One thing for sure, you should never leave the same way you came. You should always leave better in some way. You should leave with an increase in faith, in purpose, in strength, and in passion. You should leave with a decrease of doubt, of condemnation, of fear, and selfish lustful ambition. Come in one way, and purpose to leave out another. Ezekiel 46:9 When the people of the land come before the LORD at the appointed

When the Lord enters: Ezekiel 44

Ezekiel 44:2    The LORD said to me, “This gate is to remain shut. It must not be opened; no one may enter through it. It is to remain shut because the LORD, the God of Israel, has entered through it. I am reminded of a parable Jesus shared about a man who was stricken with a devil and cleaned up.   Matthew 12: 43 When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none.   44 Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished.   45 Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first.  It seems the problem is, this man failed to allow God to enter and then shut the gate  that no one may enter through it. When God enters a place, He should be so invited that He fills it. There is room for nothing that is not Him. Let's make Go
