I like when I find the prayers the Apostles prayed for the believers. It is good to embed these prayers into our own personal prayer life, as we pray for believers in our local assemblies and world wide, and even ourselves.
In the last few verses in the first chapter of Ephesians there is a prayer that Apostle Paul writes:
Therefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints, 16 do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers: 17
[I Pray]that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power ,
Isn't that an awesome prayer to repeat?
So this is my prayer for us all today. That the eyes of our understanding would be flooded with light, and the spirit of wisdom and revelation would rest on us- pursuing God, through his word and prayer, with diligence. In Jesus Name. Amen.
