The End of the book: Revelation 18-22

One day a few months ago my 7 year old son asks me a question: "Mommy are we at the end of the book?"

The book he was talking about was the Bible. I cocked my head to side, and realized, yes, yes we are. We are coming to the end of the story, or at least this chapter.

In this passage is the desctruction of "BABYLON" the avenging of the SAINTS, the declaration of the KING OF KINGS and his established kingdom....

We are coming to an end. NOW is the time to make your calling and election sure. Who has your vote on the spiritual ballot? The Prince of Peace or the Prince of the Air, The Father of creation, or the Father of lies, The Lion of Judah, or the Roaring Lion seeking who he may devour?

Revelation 20:12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and *the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in *the books, according to their works.

*the books will be the source of judgement- the 66 books found in the God breathed Word, the Holy Bible

Revelation 22:20 He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.

Mission: Christmas Blessing

Peace & love everybody! I've been so excited it's been hard to contain myself regarding today's mission! I hope that after reading this post, you'll be as encouraged as I am now! Known by most today as "the last Stalinist country" and according to VOM, "one of the most repressive and isolated regimes in the world", North Korea needs our prayers, monetary support, and volunteers. Earnestly contend for the Faith: Jude

Today's passage is Revelation 18-22, but here I am one book behind in Jude. I just wanted to spend some time in this one chaptered book. I love that the Word of God is LIVELY and ACTIVE, and, though never changing, it is always revealing. I got stuck on Jude verse 3. The words EARNESTLY and CONTEND, made me think, wow, we have to put up a fight for this thing. I read, and scribbled in my notebook as I went through. Here is what I wrote:
