The way to preach Christ

Romans 16:25-26
25 Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,
26 But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith:-

There is a certain way to preach Christ. He is not to be preached according to what feels right or good or exciting to our ears or minds. Christ is to be preached according to the mystery that is now made manifest. This mystery is now revealed. What is that mystery? How is it revealed? to whom is it revealed?

1. What is that mystery?
Let's look at what the bible says about "the mystery"

Mark 4:11
And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables:
What is mysterious about the kingdom of God?  Let's read on...

Romans 11:17
17...thou, being a wild olive tree, wert grafted in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree;
25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits;

The mystery expressed here is the access that all nations have to the grace of God that brings salvation. Jesus told many parables regarding the kingdom of God. All of the parables had the same theme- Jesus Christ came to save all of mankind from the oppression of Satan. It was not for the Jews only.The nation of Israel did not readily grasp this concept. If so they would not have crucified the Lord.
1 Corinthians 2:7-8 reads:
But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:

Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

The mystery you see here, is GRACE.

The mystery expressed in Romans 11:17, is also parrallelled in Ephesians 1:9-10.

Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:

10 That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:

There it is in verse 10. The mystery he has made known to us is GRACE. This dispensation of GRACE allows all to be gathered "together as one in Christ."

2. How is the mystery revealed?

ephesians 3:2-6
 If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward:
How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words,
Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ)
Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;
That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:

There is our answer in verse 5: by the Spirit.
and in Romans 16:26 : by the scriptures.

3. To whom is is revealed?
Ephesians 3:5  says "it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets
Romans 16:26 to all nations who have obeyed through faith

In conclusion, GRACE is the mystery revealed by the Spirit and the scriptures to those who have obeyed in faith;for grace is accessible to all, yet the revelation of GRACE is to those who believe and obey.
 This is the way to preach Christ.

Mission: New Tribes

Hi Family! We hope that your holiday was truly blessed! Not blessed with things  but blessings of fellowship, giving, and most importantly, love. I think we take for granted the opportunity to be surrounded by people who  actually  want to be around us and who want to invest in our lives in some way! Although our year is full of holidays of pagan origin, they are awesome times for the family of God to gather together and just love on each other! Also, I surely don't take holidays that my husband gets off of work lightly! Love....

Mission: Christmas Blessing

Peace & love everybody! I've been so excited it's been hard to contain myself regarding today's mission! I hope that after reading this post, you'll be as encouraged as I am now! Known by most today as "the last Stalinist country" and according to VOM, "one of the most repressive and isolated regimes in the world", North Korea needs our prayers, monetary support, and volunteers. It's even being reported that a holocaust is occurring there as I'm writing this! Christians are being tortured, killed, and having "experiments" run on them all because they testify that Jesus is their Lord. Read a short synopsis of what Persecution.com has to say about North Korea and check out their related links. Thanks to our family over at The Voice of the Martyrs, we will be able to encourage and support our North Korean brothers and sisters! With our donations of $50 we will be able to sponsor a package that will have hard-to-get essentials, ...
