Poem for a little Haitian Girl

The news clip brought me to tears, one for the loss of life, two for the guilt of seeming to indulge in the sensationalizing of another's devastation, for I clicked on it didn't I? Was it out of true concern, or just curiosity? I pray it was so I could lift up this child's family and others like them in prayer. I was moved to write this poem just now, only intending to copy and past the vidoe clip. But here goes. My Caribbean brothers and sisters are in need, and I pray for the strength of the true believers that are able to shine the light of Christ in the darkness. Jesus is soon to come.
Eleven years
too late or too soon--
yet the moon rises
casting a glow that it borrows
from the sun ;

when one's exchanging places;
there is a touch sometimes,
there is a passing wind
carrying a scent
to places never been

the sun sets
the moon rises
hopes are risen
and tears are cried;
eleven years of rising suns
and setting moons

yet there' always light-
it never dies

Mission: New Tribes

Hi Family! We hope that your holiday was truly blessed! Not blessed with things  but blessings of fellowship, giving, and most importantly, love. Although our year is full of holidays of pagan origin, they are awesome times for the family of God to gather together and just love on each other! Also, I surely don't take holidays that my husband gets off of work lightly! Love....

Mission: Christmas Blessing

Peace & love everybody! I've been so excited it's been hard to contain myself regarding today's mission! I hope that after reading this post, you'll be as encouraged as I am now! Known by most today as "the last Stalinist country" and according to VOM, "one of the most repressive and isolated regimes in the world", North Korea needs our prayers, monetary support, and volunteers. It's even being reported that a holocaust is occurring there as I'm writing this! Christians are being tortured, killed, and having "experiments" run on them all because they testify that Jesus is their Lord. Read a short synopsis of what Persecution.com has to say about North Korea and check out their related links. Thanks to our family over at The Voice of the Martyrs, we will be able to encourage and support our North Korean brothers and sisters! With our donations of $50 we will be able to sponsor a package that will have hard-to-get essentials, ...
