ONE MESSAGE. ONE FAITH.

The title of this post provokes varying lines of thought. If you would, let's venture on a train of thought that begins with the word "express". Being the lover of diction, syntax, and linguistics, the word express presents itself in my mind as "ex"  and "press". I want to know the meaning for the parts, both singularly and combined. Definition of  ex 1 :   out of  :    from : as a   :   from a specified place or source Definition of  press 4 a   :   an action of  pressing  or pushing  :    pressure With this in mind we can gather that the word express depicts an action of pushing out from. When we make a facial expression our emotions are pressed out of our mind onto our face. When we say someone's art is an ex-pression of their feelings or their perspective, we are essentially looking at their feelings pressed out of themselves onto the tangible medium. ex·press ...

Deny. To deny the Son is to refuse the truth of who the Son is. It is to refuse the validity of who the Son is. Simply put, when the Son of God is denied, one refuses God. What makes Paul so admirable in the eyes of today's Christian? Paul himself made a point to emphasize that he is no more than a vessel, for he declared that in his flesh is nothing good. He shares his inner struggle with his will to do right, and the flesh's seemingly stronger will to please only itself ( Romans 7:17-19 ).So what is it that draws our hearts to applaud Paul and all he did? His willingness to be wholly subject to the will of God, his total submission to God's Holy Spirit, and his uncompromising adherence to the teachings passed to him by Jesus's followers. In 1 Timothy, Paul gives personal guidance to his spiritual son, urging him in matters of ministry and leadership. Since we are all called to be ministers, servants to the people of God, it is good to take note of the words of doctrine Paul gives.
